Kirsty is one of our level six Advanced Paediatric Sleep Training course tutors.

 

Kirsty trained as a nurse at Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital in London, qualifying in 1997. After 5 years working with adults as a general nurse, Kirsty joined the NHS School Nursing team in Ashford, Kent, and in 2007 Kirsty completed a postgraduate diploma in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, School Nursing. In 2012 Kirsty became dual qualified as a Health Visitor and School Nurse. She is also a qualified counsellor.

 

Kirsty is currently studying for an MRes. in research Methods in Psychology at Goldsmith University London

 

Kirsty has been working with children and families for more than 17 years and has experience within both statutory and private services. She is passionate about improving sleep for both adults and children, and recently completed a course in CBTi. Kirsty has experience in supporting families and individuals with sleep problems and works across the age ranges, from babies, through the teens, and up to older adults.

 

Kirsty is a member of the Royal College of Nursing, the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV), the International Peadiatric Sleep Association (IPSA) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
